"The New Adventures of Spin and Marty: Suspect Behavior," an all-new update of the beloved "Mickey Mouse Show" serial, will air as a presentation of "The Wonderful World of Disney".
The film will also feature a cameo appearance by the original Spin and Marty, Tim Considine and David Stollery, who starred in the classic 1950s serial.
Snooty young Marty Markham (Gallagher) is left in the care of family butler Jordan (Shaughnessy) by his Paris-bound parents. Before mom and dad leave, they issue an edict: If the solitary Marty fails to make a friend within a few days, he'll be exiled to a dude ranch for the summer.
Enter mischievous and wildly imaginative Spin Evans (Foley), whose dad is the super at Marty's luxury apartment. The boys begin an unlikely friendship when they decide to investigate the creepy couple (Nelson, Ms. Butler) who are their new neighbors, leading to more adventure than they ever imagined.
