Plot
Palmer (Dana Olden) does not want to stop on at school but needs to graduate to receive his trust fund. Eddie (Judd Nelson) is a New Jersey local and used to the streets and handling trouble except when the trouble comes from his bookie. The two meet and decide to swap identities. Eddie will become Palmer and get good grades for the sum of $10,000 and Palmer will go on vacation. Eddie soon learns the ways of the rich and famous but also initiates his new schoolmates into the ways of his old life which gains him popularity along the way. What follows is a series of misadventures including Eddie's bookie showing up and Eddie falling in love and Palmer returning.
